We wanted to name our company HerbSardinia to link together the images and the scents
of Mother Nature and the ones of Sardinia, renowned since the ancient times
of the Roman Empire, for the healthy properties of its aromatic flora and
the unbeatable quality of its marine salt - Sardinia's 'white gold'.
The majestic and rough beauty and strength of Sardinia's Nature and
the purity of its legendary sea waters suggested the idea to create a high
quality natural organic cosmetic line to make the perfumes and the scents
of our island well known to the rest of the World and to recall Sardinia's
lovers the body and mind well-being that they found on our island.
The magic mix between the healthy sea waters, the prevalence of the
strong Mistral wind, the total absence of water and air pollution and the
widest botanic bio-diversity in the whole Mediterranean area - with more than
2300 recorded types – in few words, this world wide unique eco-system, allowed
HerbSardinia to create its high range organic cosmetics.
The magic of Sardinia with all its rich and wild scents are bottled
into HerbSardinia organic cosmetics to remind you of all that Sardinia's nature
has to offer - the sun, the sea, the land of Sardinia are the best guarantee
of an exclusive organic and natural product.
HerbSardinia's organic phytocosmetics are formulated and produced
according to the highest quality standards and controls and our priority is
to maintain the balance of the organic and natural components in our products.
In this regard HerbSardinia's organic cosmetics are ideal for sensitive
skins as they contain no SLS or SLE, artificial colours, chemical perfumes,
animal components, and most importantly, in line with our philosophy, they

We wanted to rename the Sea Salt line Herbae Sardiniae, in the Latin language, to celebrate
the ancient herbal Sardinia's tradition, the well-being line made from Sardinia's sea salts that assure the body and the mind the wonderful
relaxing sensation felt during a bath in Sardinia's sea waters.
